Don't Stop Believin Tshirt
The phrase ‘Don't Stop Believin’’ derives from the hugely influential song title by Journey. Its cultural significance has been repeatedly manifested by its use as the theme tune for The Chicago White Sox during the 2006 World Series, and more recently as the closing music to the memorably successful ‘Sopranos’ series. The vintage Caslon—style typeface, with its uplifting yet heavy quality, concomitant with its swashes, lends itself to this heightened cultural dynamic.

Type Trumps
After the hugely successful Type Trumps comes the much awaited sequel — Type Trumps 2 — 30 new designs showing different typefaces being assigned numerical values.
Type Trumps, a play on Top Trumps, uses figures to enable the cards to be won or lost using some of the tried and tested 'Top Trumps' rules. The Type Trumps have a 'ranking', which is a subjectively ascribed positional value based on my personal favorites. {via}
Rebranding the Swedish Armed Forces
A project group of Hyper Island – Robbin Ingvarsson, Fredrik Holmberg, Kristina Herngren, Anke Buchta, Simon Schlüter and Waldemar Wegelin- rebranded the Swedish Armed Forces. They turned the usual function of camouflage around and used one of the basic shapes of geometry, the triangle, to create a new type of camouflage that is all about showing yourself. The goal is to reflect the diversity with the Armed Forces.
The focus for Swedish Army is peacekeeping abroad. In order to fulfill their missions they want to attract new talent – brain rather than muscles.
The challenge of the re-brand was to change the Swedish Armed Forces from a traditional defensive institute into a modern employer. {via}

A Guide Magazine
A Guide Magazine is devoted to the quality and power of creativity, searching for pioneers and protagonists well beyond current lifestyle trends. The magazine centers on historical as well as on present day success stories of creative minds and companies that have evolved over generations. The common denominator is the combination of tradition and innovation, of passed-on knowledge and contemporary interpretation, of entrepreneurial spirit and grown (family) structures.
The magazine not only stands for creative contents but also for an innovative concept in the form of a magazine-in-a-magazine product. Every issue contains a removable city guide, exploring the top spots of a city or region.

The set of three solid graphite pencils that do without the typical wooden dress, and a sharpener in the name of the promising sounds Grenade is perfect for those who attach importance to understatement and quality. The pins are contained in three different grades of hardness and are thus not only as a writing instrument. The fact that the pencil sharpener brass bears his name correctly, it becomes immediately apparent when you have kept the one small tool in the hand.

“Scrap Drives”
Matt Ritchie, a graphic designer working out of New Hampshire, has developed a product called “Scrap Drives” in an effort to raise awareness regarding the current process of manufacturing, and recycling, USB flash drives. The project stems from Ritchie’s research into the life cycle of ‘throw-away’ technology such as flash drives; finding a void in terms of both innovation and design, he generated this product line. The drives are handcrafted out of recycled materials, with their exterior casings and packaging using 100% naturally sourced products.
