On the run-movie from Cinetco Production

After years of making successful short films my friends from Cinetico Production are few months shy from release their full featured movie. 
"On The Run is a passionate love story that extracts magic from reality. It tells the story of Vincent, a street artist, on a journey as he searches for both a lost love and the soul of the city." Please check out trailer above. 

Kalakari-Ornamental Alphabet

Beth Shirrell has produced this attractive all-caps ornamental alphabet, inspired by Indian (and specifically Hindi) decorative culture. It’s nicely produced and has some fascinating little details, but I wish there were some higher resolution examples to look at. Anyway, a few characters below — see the rest on her site.

Edwin Land was the genius inventor of the Polaroid camera. This quote explains his philosophy and inspires us all to take on challenges worth taking on.
The print was letterpressed by Douglas Wilson on his Vandercook printing press, using a photopolymer plate and the shape is double the size of a regular Polaroid. Buy it here.

Damien Hirst Audi A1

Damien Hirst Audi A1 for Sir Elton John’s AIDS foundation. He spin-painted the completely drivable glossy A1 in his studio in Gloucestershire, England specifically for the auction. It came bundled together with a painting on canvas which he created at the same time. With a $524,000 bid, this is what the winner took home. {via}
